HTTrack is an easy-use offline browser utility. It allows you to transfer a World Wide Web site from the Internet to a local directory, building recursively all structures, getting html, images, and other files from the server to your computer. Links are rebuilt relatively so that you can freely browse to the local site (works with any browser). You can mirror several sites together so that you can jump from one to another. You can, also, update an existing mirror site, or continue an interrupted transfer. The robot is fully configurable, with many options and features. The program is Open Source.

Getleft is a web site downloader, that downloads complete web sites according to the settings provided by the user. It automatically changes all the absolute links to relative ones, so you can surf the downloaded pages (web sites) on your local computer without the need to connect to the internet. so that you can surf the site in your hard disk. Getleft supports several filters, allowing you to limit the download to certain files, as well as resuming , following of external links, sitemap and more. Getleft supports proxy connections and can be scheduled to update downloaded pages automatically.

BackStreet is a multi-threaded website downloader and offline browser. By making multiple simultaneous server requests, it can quickly download an entire website (or part of a site) including HTML, graphics, Java Applets, sounds and other user definable file types, and save all the files in your hard drive The files can be archived in their native format, or as a compressed ZIP file. BackStreet Browser can rewrite all the links so that you can browse the site from your hard drive, without the need for an internet connection. Other features include URL and file filters, built-in browser display, site tree navigation, proxy support, site updates, site copy mode and more.

Webaroo enables you to surf and search portions of the web that interest you without an Internet connection. It works by compressing and downloading relevant content to your hard drive, which you can then search and surf, using a browser based search engine interface. Webaroo offers several pre-compiled web packs that include content for specific interests or locations, and you can also add your favorite web sites to the list. Adding of custom URLs is rather limited though, and we would have expected to see some options to gather search engine results, news reports or similar content. Unlike other webpage downloaders, Webaroo analyzes the content and select the pages that are most relevant to the topic and require the least storage space. Your content can then be browsed on your PC or laptop, or synchronized to a mobile device. The currently available selection of web packs includes all of Wikipedia, several city guides, World Fact Book and much more.

Gallery Grabber enables you to quickly save all the images in a photo gallery, without having to manually click on the images. It will automatically follow the thumbnails and download the full size images for you - all with a single click. You can choose a folder to save the files to, set a minimum file size, and limit following of links to the current domain. Simple program, but easy to use and effective.

WTR - Web The Ripper 2 allows you to select and download files that are linked from a specified web page. It will analyze the input URL and then display a list of all downloadable files (images, html, programs, mp3 etc.) allowing you to select all or individual files. The files are downloaded to a folder of your choice and the program can also be configured to automatically launch your anti-virus scanner. In addition, you can specify an extension filter, to limit downloads to specified file types.
