E-mail Notification

PopTray is a small and feature rich email notifier, that can check for new mail in all your POP accounts. It then notifies you when new mail arrives. You can set up custom notification options for each account, color coded tray indicators and even be notified of important messages that match you criteria. PopTray allows you to se up rules, that allow you to automatically delete messages, ignore them, launch a program and more. You can also reply to messages, delete them from the server, play custom sound notifications and more.

POP Peeper is a small utility that runs in your Windows system tray. It visually and audibly lets you know if you have email on any number of POP3 and IMAP servers as well as Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo and other web mail providers. It allows you to preview the headers of your email, and view the messages. There is also support for file attachments, which allows you to view the name of the files. Mail Alert is a notification add-in for Microsoft Outlook, that displays a message from the system tray whenever new mail arrives. It shows the subject, the sender and the first couple lines of the message text, and allows you to reply, mark or delete a message with a few clicks. You can configure the notification behavior and also limit alerts to a specified folder - the program can work hand-in-hand with existing Outlook rules and delay alert processing until rules have been processed by Outlook.
